2. Description of Services
Geriatric occupational therapy services are offered, focused on the overall wellbeing, independence and quality of life of older adults. Services are provided at home and online, and include, among others:
- Comprehensive occupational assessment.
- Functional cognitive stimulation.
- Caregiver support and training.
- Virtual family guidance consultations.
- Post-hospital functional rehabilitation.
- Occupational therapy in palliative care.
The services are a therapeutic support and do not replace medical diagnoses, treatment or emergency care.
3. Booking and Payment
- Booking: Sessions are booked through the online appointment calendar (Cal.com) or by direct contact, subject to availability.
- Confirmation: A session is confirmed once payment is received. Payment is due within 48 hours of booking, otherwise the time slot may be released.
- Payment and reimbursement: Services are paid privately. After the session an invoice or receipt is issued, which you may submit to your insurer to request reimbursement according to your plan's coverage.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- More than 24 hours in advance: You may reschedule the session at no cost or request a 100% refund.
- Less than 24 hours in advance: A 50% fee of the session price applies. The remaining balance can be used toward a future session.
- No-show: If you do not attend the session (in person or virtual), 100% of the amount paid is retained.
- Cancellation by the therapist: If the therapist must cancel for reasons beyond their control, rescheduling at the earliest opportunity or a full refund will be offered.
5. Service Area
Home visits take place mainly in Riverton and surrounding areas. Please ask about availability for other areas. Virtual services can be provided to anyone with a stable internet connection.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images and design, belongs to Emma R. Whitfield and is protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction without explicit authorization is prohibited.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws applicable in United States. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Riverton.
